A Break in Tuscany

I recently enjoyed a week in Tuscany catching up with family – a tranquil break from the excitement and business of the current pop up shop The Henri Store. The weather was divine and it was truly a week of pure culture and relaxation. We stayed in a beautiful old villa with jasmine and roses climbing the big stone walls and huge terracotta pots of lemon trees scattered around the terraces outside. We sat in the cool shade surrounded by vines and birdsong and sipped coffee and ate cheese and melon for breakfast. We explored the wonderful Sienna and Florence, lounged by the pool, occasionally cooling off in the icy cold water, played tennis, drank apreol spritz on the outside sofas and generally indulged in our holiday, Italian style.

With weather that was in the mid 20s and clear blue skies everyday, I wore items of clothing to keep things breezy, whether in the city or relaxing back at the villa. I took with me a selection of Henri shirts that I wore day in and day out and were the best items of clothing I took away with me. Pairing with trousers, skirts or shorts or just open over a bikini they were so versatile - a great space saver with luggage as I hardly wore anything else! In particular the grey knotted sleeve, the summer tunic and the stripy tie back were the most holiday friendly styles and I couldn’t have survived without my trusty Ottowin sandels and ZM Palm Carrier (both from The Henri Store).
