We love the East end of London (hence popping up here on more than a few occasions). So while we’re still in our Hackney Road pop up we thought we’d each share our favourite places with you all so you can explore a bit more of the area if you’re planning to visit. From coffee shops, to fine dining here are our top picks…
"Every morning I start the day with coffee on my favourite bench in London. It’s a suntrap just at the front of Wilton Way café. It’s the best place to savour my coffee and energise me for the day ahead. I then take my dog for a stroll around his favourite place, London fields park."
"We love 'A Portuguese Love' a colourful and cosy Portuguese cafe with the best Pastel De Nata's in town situated on Bethnal green road. Such friendly and welcoming staff and all the delicious food is made by local Portuguese people. Our fave cafe in London!"
"I love to grab a coffee from Climpson and Sons and have a wander around the book shops of Broadway market. I usually end up buying a loaf of bread and my favourite peanut butter from Pavillion."
"After a day is the shop we love to grab a pint and bask on the roof terrace at The Marksmen catching the last warmth before heading down the road to Morito for some delicious tapas, their fried aubergine with feta and date molasses is just amazing."
"This is my all time favourite cafe. It's set down a cobbled street with vines growing up the outside and has a really sweet little coffee window. The interior is chic and homely and the smells coming from the kitchen are always exquisite. I would recommend the bean soup with a black coffee, sitting outside the front under the winter heaters."
